JANELL CODY (Destiny Bailey) currently lives in Junction City, KS.
She is a member of Morris Hill Gospel Service in Fort Riley, KS and has been for 19 years. She is also a member of their Gospel Choir. She has participated in various stage play musicals from local companies to include Godspell, The Wiz, Purlie Victorious and Old Ship of Zion. This is her first musical in the Junction City, Fort Riley area and she is truly excited to be a part of the cast.

IMOGENE “GENEE” DENT (Hazel “ Mama” Bailey) is a 20- year-old native of St. Louis, MO. She is currently attending Barton Community College and a few other universities with a Major in Performing Arts and a Minor in Fashion Design. Genee is currently married with no children. Her interests are acting and modeling. Her goal is to continue to pursue both of those aspirations through any and every opportunity that she is given. Being a part of this cast has been a blessing for her. This is Genee’s first musical stage play as well as her first acting debut with Universal-Kay Playhouse. |

FRANCIS HANSON (Nurse Gina) is currently serving in the U.S. Army and is happily married to an Active Duty service member. She has two beautiful children and enjoys every minute of the time she spends with them. She wants it to be known she enjoys decorating anytime she can get. This is Francis’ first acting debut as well as her first production with Universal- Kay Playhouse. |

MADELINE MADUABUCHI (Ms. Ruby) currently serves in the U.S. Army and is happily married with three beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with the Lord, shopping and going to the movies. She is currently pursuing her Paralegal Degree with Central Texas College. Madeline wants it to be known that she truly agrees with the vision given to the show’s Playwright and Director. She believes that it is the duty of everyone to keep each other out of “harm’s way”. Madeline is truly blessed that she was hand-picked to do this performance. |

DANIELLE PETERSON (Garcelle Bailey) is a 29 year-old licensed Cosmetologist and has been since 1996. She is happily married to a U.S. Army Soldier and they are the proud parents of two beautiful children. She is currently attending Barton Community College in pursuit of an Associate in Applied Science. She currently participated in a Fort Riley, KS Fashion Show held on the Kansas State University Campus. In Harm’s Way is Danielle’s first acting debut. |

JAMES " JIM" SANDS (Anthony "Pops" Bailey) is 54 yrs of age, retired military, hyper and doesn't know how to say no. He is married to Erin Sands and they have a daughter Jamie. He enjoys doing things that he has not done, or doesn't know how to do. His outlook on life is "I like to have fun; life is too short to fret the small stuff." His favorite quote: “Never accept the first 6 No’s”. His belief is "God has made me strong; I will stay strong through God’s word." This is Jim's first appearance at the Universal-Kay Playhouse. |

SYDNEY SHERRICK (Hailey Bailey- Thomas) is 12 years old and truly enjoys singing. She’s proud to say she has a brother whom she adores very much. Both Sydney’s parents are Active Duty military and Sydney enjoys every minute of the experience. In her free time, she enjoys entering in singing contests, programs and anything that involves music. Her aspirations are to continue to pursue anything musically related. Sydney is truly excited to be with the Universal-Kay Playhouse this year. |
 | DAIJANA WALLACE (Sierra Bailey) is 13 years old and currently attending Junction City Middle School. She is in the 7th Grade and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Her interests are playing the cello, singing and drawing. She is proud to announce that she currently holds a 4.0 GPA |

SHANEKA " NEKA" DIX (Yalaunda Cole) is a native of North Carolina. She previously served in the U.S. military but is now a DOD civilian employee on Fort Riley. She is married to an Active Duty Service member and they have a beautiful three year-old daughter together. Neka is currently taking online college courses. When she has a free moment she enjoys spending time with her family and shopping. Her other passions are acting and modeling. "In Harm’s Way" is her first stage play acting debut, as well as her first appearance at the Universal-Kay Playhouse. |

ROBERT BARTON (Rev Marcus Bailey) is a native of Arkansas and serves in the United States Army. He is married and they have three wonderful sons. Robert is currently working on a major in Business Management/Administration.
Upon retirement in December 2008, he plans on attending a police academy soon after. In his spare time, he enjoys quality time with his family and working as an usher supervisor, singing in the men of faith choir and being a driver at his church. |
| No Picture Available | LAVONE KENDRICK (Senator Julian Bailey- Thomas) is a Christian mother of one son, Alex (15). She worships at New Church of the Living God. She enjoys writing and directing Christian plays as well. LaVone is proud to say that she has been a youth and community activist for 10 years. She is very passionate about today’s youth and continues to plan activities and events for them every opportunity she gets. LeVone is also a SGT and a Chaplain’s assistant in the U.S. Army and has been for 9 years. She is currently attending college to obtain her degree in Family Counseling and wants it to be known that if she stays in the military, she wants to become a Chaplain. This is LeVone’s first appearance with the Universal-Kay Playhouse but she wants to do God’s work every chance that she gets, so she knows it won’t be her last. |
| No Picture Available | TYRONE “U-NEEK” WILLIAMS (DR. E.J. Morgan) is a 20 year old native of Columbus Georgia. He is the third oldest sibling of four. He currently attends Barton Community College and will be transferring to K-State in the Fall semester of 2008. His passion lies deeply with the arts, dance being the predominant. He began teaching dance at the age of 16 while his Father, whom serves in the US Army, was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany and continued his technical training into college where he landed himself in a piece choreographed by Contemporary choreographer Matthew Thornton and his wife Alicia Diaz in Kansas State University’s “Spring Dance 2006-2007” As of now he is double majoring in the fields of Dance and Business Management in hopes of opening his own professional dance studio upon the completion of college. He just recently received the approval of his Hip Hop program “On Pointe” at Junction City High School and plans on expanding his program into an agency for dancers based in the Midwest region. He gives all the Glory and Praise unto God for making all things possible and strives to follow in his Heavenly Fathers footsteps one day at a time. |
